Isabel is a native of the Australian mainland in Melbourne. The father of Isabel is Australian, and her mother Swiss. Her family has lived in the Swiss, in Melbourne Jabiru (a small mining community in Northern Territory), Cairns Australia and in Jabiru, Switzerland. Isabel attended school alongside Nina and other children from various cultures, including First Nations. Isabel lives within Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel started acting at school. She studied Drama at the Queensland Institute of Technology. She also studied, more recently, she was trained in the Perdekamp Emotional Method. She never auditioned for roles until she was spotted by her agent in 2002. She auditioned for part on Home and Away (1988). The producers felt she wasn't appropriate for the role however they were pleasantly surprised and created a new role for her Tasha. After 3 years of work, she played her first TV role and received the Logie Award. Isabel moved in 2008 to Los Angeles. Her breakthrough came in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, (2009). In the years since, she has starred and been awarded in many US films as in Australian productions. Isabel has recently appeared in Bosh & Rockit a fast-emerging Australian classic and the soon to be released, the film Lunacy. Isabel recently wrapped Sons of Summer. In addition, she's in preproduction alongside Annika Glc for the role in the film of Marie Curie.
